Please read these terms carefully. By using SAFE DRIVE INDIA's platform and services, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Effective Date
1 January 2024
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SAFE DRIVE INDIA platform, website (www.safedriveindia.com), mobile applications, training courses, certification services, and any related services (collectively, the "Services") operated by SAFE DRIVE INDIA ("we", "our", or "us").
By registering an account, enrolling in a course, purchasing a program, or using any part of our Services, you ("User", "Learner", "you") confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are accessing the platform on behalf of a company, institution, or organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately cease use of the platform and contact us to request closure of your account.
You must be at least 18 years of age to register and independently use our platform. Users under 18 may access the platform only with the written consent of a parent, legal guardian, or authorized institutional representative.
You agree to use the platform only for its intended educational purpose and in compliance with all applicable laws. The following activities are strictly prohibited:
Upon successful enrollment and payment (where applicable), you will be granted access to the enrolled course for the duration specified at the time of purchase. Access periods, module availability, and assessment windows are defined individually per course.
SAFE DRIVE INDIA reserves the right to update, revise, or discontinue any course or course content at any time to maintain accuracy, safety standards, or regulatory compliance. Where a course you have enrolled in is discontinued, we will provide reasonable notice and either a suitable alternative or a refund at our discretion.
SAFE DRIVE INDIA issues digital certificates to learners who successfully meet all completion requirements for a course. These certificates are a record of your participation and assessed competency at the time of training.
Course fees are displayed on the platform at the time of enrollment. All fees are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Fees may be updated periodically; the fee at the time of your enrollment is the binding amount.
Payments are processed securely through Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. We accept UPI, debit/credit cards, and net banking. SAFE DRIVE INDIA does not store any payment card or UPI credentials. All financial transactions are governed by Razorpay's terms and our payment gateway security standards.
GST is applied to course fees as per applicable Indian tax regulations. A digital invoice/receipt is issued automatically upon successful payment. For corporate GST invoicing, please provide your organization's GSTIN during enrollment or contact us at contact@safedriveindia.com.
All content on the SAFE DRIVE INDIA platform — including but not limited to course videos, written materials, assessment questions, graphics, logos, animations, branding, and the platform software itself — is the exclusive intellectual property of SAFE DRIVE INDIA or its licensed content providers.
Organizations enrolling multiple users under corporate, enterprise, or government training programs are subject to the following additional terms:
The integrity of our certification programs is fundamental to their value and credibility. All learners are expected to uphold the highest standards of honesty and professionalism.
We aim to maintain continuous platform availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance, technical updates, or circumstances beyond our control may cause temporary unavailability. We will provide advance notice of planned downtime wherever possible.
Course content reflects road safety knowledge and best practices at the time of creation. While we strive for accuracy, road safety regulations, vehicle standards, and traffic laws may change. SAFE DRIVE INDIA does not warrant that all course content is current, complete, or applicable to every geographic or operational context.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SAFE DRIVE INDIA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of data, loss of income, or personal injury — arising from your use of or inability to use the platform or its content. Our total liability in any matter arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific course or service giving rise to the claim.
Course content is provided for educational and awareness purposes only. Nothing in our courses constitutes legal, regulatory, medical, or professional advice. Always consult appropriate licensed professionals for jurisdiction-specific compliance guidance.
SAFE DRIVE INDIA reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account and access to the platform, with or without prior notice, if:
Upon termination, your access to course content will cease immediately. You may retain copies of certificates already issued before termination, unless revoked for cause. Refunds are not provided upon termination due to a violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and all applicable rules and regulations thereunder.
In the event of any dispute arising from or in connection with these Terms or the Services, the parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation within 30 days of one party notifying the other of the dispute.
If negotiation is unsuccessful, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with the seat of arbitration in Hyderabad, Telangana. The proceedings shall be conducted in the English language.
Nothing in this clause prevents either party from seeking emergency injunctive relief from a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm.
We may update or modify these Terms at any time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or business practices. When material changes are made, we will update the 'Effective Date' shown at the top of this page.
Where the changes are material, we will notify you via email or a prominent platform notice at least 7 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the platform after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
If you disagree with any update, you must stop using the platform and notify us within the 7-day notice period to request account closure without penalty.
